Kuwait Winter Games Club organizes sports and social activities to celebrate national holidays – ARAB TIMES

KUWAIT CITY, Feb. 19: The Kuwait Winter Games Club held sports and social activities on Saturday to celebrate the country’s 61st National Day, which falls on Feb. 25, and the 31st Liberation Day on Feb. 26, at the amid great turnout and an atmosphere of joy from players and club members and their families.

In this regard, the president of the club, Fahid Al-Ajmi, expressed in a statement to the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) the warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al -Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and to the honorable people of Kuwait, wishing continued progress and glory.

Al-Ajmi stressed the club’s keenness to participate in the great joys that the country is experiencing on these two cherished occasions, presenting several competitions and prizes on the club’s snowy hall. He pointed out that the club’s male and female players who are affiliated with the club’s talent school and in the various winter games supervised by the club presented a sports performance operetta in the club hall which reinforces the values of love and loyalty to the country. He stressed that these celebrations are the expression and embodiment of the love of the Kuwaiti people, members of the club, for their country, Kuwait, which has given and continues to give a lot to its children in various fields, including the sports field, pledging to continue working to raise the flag of Kuwait high in foreign sports forums.
